Marc and Daniel

Best Man - Daniel Brake

Daniel and I have been friends since we were 13 years old. We met in 7th grade at Jefferson Junior High School. We played baseball, football, track, basketball and everything else together. Daniel's claim to fame was in 9th grade when he scored an 80 yard touchdown on a magnificent block by his fullback. Daniel is a great friend to me and my family! We have done just about everything together - I was even the Best Man in his wedding. I gave an amazing speech at his wedding, so he has some big expectations to live up to! Jenn and I have been looking through old pictures to show at the rehearsal dinner and Daniel is in almost every group of pictures.....we have been through just about everything together. Daniel and his Jr. High sweetheart Eileen live in Merritt Island, Florida. They have 3 beautiful girls.

Marc and Steven

Groomsman - Steven Neville

The funny thing about Steven is that our parents use to walk around the neighborhood when they were pregnant with us back in 1977. It is pretty cool to say that you have been friends with someone since before you were born:-). We were on the same baseball team in Little League at age 11 (The Yankees) all the way through college (The Running Rifles)...........pretty ironic when you think about it. Steven has been there for just about every event in my life. Steven lives in Indianapolis where he works on flight plans for Chautauqua Airlines. So, if your flights are delayed on your way to Houston, just call Steven and he will give you an update 555-555-1212.

Moe and Marc

Groomsman - Moe Connor

I think Moe was the first person to realize that I had "SALES" in my blood. When we were 10 years old we use to sell oranges and orange juice at the soccer park near our house in Merritt Island. Moe was an awesome trombone player growing up - I never really understood how to play an instrument however we always found common ground and have been great friends for years. Moe lives in Tampa and works in the IT department at USF. Yes, let me answer your question, MOE CAN GIVE YOU COMPUTER ADVICE..........but he is off the clock at the wedding;-)

Marc and Randy

Groomsman - Randy Eastep

Randy is my Steelers buddy - we have been to a Steelers game every year for the past 9 years and only kicked out of 1 ;-) Randy and I use to work together at Chick-fil-A in the Merritt Square Mall. Now, Randy owns a Chick-fil-A in Baltimore! Randy and I have some great memories from all the things we have done together! I am looking forward to more memories as we continue our tradition of Steelers games............. and hopefully growing our friendship into Steelers Season Ticket Holders! Randy lives in Baltimore where he owns his own Chick-fil-A..........PS - he always carries free Chicken sandwich cards!

Marc and BT

Groomsman - Barry Taylor

YO BT! Barry and I met in South Carolina on Rifle Field! Barry is from Boiling Springs, South Carolina. He was QB-1 like in "Friday Night Lights" and a star Baseball player (he also claims to run the point like Steve Nash). We both started at USCS the same year and once we got to know each other, we were best friends! We did just about everything together the last year and half we were in Spartanburg. We lived like rock-stars during the summer of 1998........man those were great times! --------ENDORSEMENT------ Barry is also a Financial Advisor for Merrill Lynch! Barry is married to his High School Sweet Heart Kristen and have a future MBL player named Clayton.

Pete and Marc

Groomsman - Petersen Benjamin

Pete, Bennie, Petersen, Master P..........Petersen is a man of many names, but one great friend! Petersen and I were roommates in Boca Raton while we were in school at FAU. We lived in a SWEET 3 bedroom apartment in Boca that was so big that we had a Ping Pong Table in the living room! Petersen was the best roommate and is now an awesome friend! I can honestly say that Petersen made me a better person - thanks Pete! Peterson is married to his college sweetheart Lori and they have a beautiful baby girl.

Mr. Jones and Marc

Groomsman - Chris Jones

They call him MR JONES! Next to my Dad, Chris is one of the biggest influences in my life. I always tell people at work how lucky I am to have started my career working for Chris Jones! Chris took me under his wing, trained me, guided me, and prepared me for a successful career. The best part is that we became awesome friends during the process! We went to every home UNC football game for 2.5 seasons. We went to mid-night madness in the Carmichael-Auditorium! We watched the 2004 NCAA National Champions walk on the court for the first time at the Dean Dome in 2002 - then traveled to watch them again in their second appearance in the NCAA Tournament in Charlotte. Chris and I played a couple good basketball games ourselves - however our best matches came on the Foosball table! Chris and Samine (Grant Hill's BFF) live in Miami with their son Dakota! DAKOTA JONES! Yep, he will be a linebacker!

Marc and Chris

Groomsman - Chris Salters

Let's use the "theater of the mind"......Surround Sound in the bedroom, big stereo in the car, tons of music on the computer, loves music, loves LOUD music, and CHICKS flock to him - yeah, I know, it sounds like me - however this is Jenn's little brother. Chris is a freshman at Texas A&M......hahahaha and following in my footsteps! Chris wants to study Aeronautical Engineering and plans to be an Astronaut. Chris and I are becoming great friends and I am looking forward to having a little brother hanging around..............but you can't move in ;-)

Jenn, Erika and Ruth

Matron of Honor – Erika Alman

Maid of Honor – Ruth Wilson

    Jenn and Erika

Erika and I met in AKPsi and have been great friends from the beginning. Erika introduced me to the world of salsa dancing and Fleetwood Mac, along with MANY more things. She taught me to believe in myself and my decisions – she is my support system and has been there to take care of me and encourage me for years. I admire her more than I could ever say – she’s an amazing and strong wife, mom and friend. Currently Erika is taking care of her precious baby girl, Isabelle and waiting on the arrival of her and Daniel’s second baby girl, due in May… Thanks for being my strength Erika – this day wouldn’t be right without you beside me.

Jenn and Ruth

Ruth and I met in that first meeting, so long ago, of the infamous AKPsi business fraternity. From that day on, we were inseperable – we even rode home together from that meeting! Ruth was my roommate for three years in college and has continued to be a source of friendship and support in “the real world”. Memories of our friendship: Aggie football games, Louisiana middle-of-the-night road trips, skipping work for a day at Astroworld, getting our Aggie rings together, New Braunfels camping trips (she was such a trooper), tons of advice on beauty and makeup, Ixtapa Survival Camp, the list goes on and on… Ruth is currently living the big life as an accountant for Baker Hughes – although her true calling is certainly in makeup artistry and celebrity gossip. Ruth is the closest thing to a sister as I’ve got – support like sisters, fight like sisters, protect like sisters and most importantly, LOVE like sisters.

Jenn and Angi

Bridesmaid - Angi Boudreaux

Angi is my oldest friend – we’ve known each other since we were both running around in diapers through the halls of First Baptist Church. Between her and Nicole Chargois, these girls know everything about me! Memories of April Fool’s jokes gone bad in Jr. High to cheerleader/mascot football games at Sterling’s football field. We’ve played softball together on the same teams since we were old enough to hold a bat. From church camps and Red Hot Chili Pepper songs to wrong-way nights out on the town and 2 a.m. phone calls filled with tears, we have been through so much together! College took us on two separate paths but as we moved apart, we grew closer – our friendship seems to have withstood every obstacle. Friends like Angi come once in a lifetime and I’m so lucky I met her at the beginning of mine! Angi is a teacher and a basketball coach in League City, just outside of Houston.

Jennifer and Jenn

Bridesmaid -Jennifer Futral

Jennifer is my twin, I swear it… No matter where we are or what we do, somehow we always end up laughing so hard we cry. She has the biggest heart of any person I’ve ever met and she would do anything for anyone. Jennifer is an HBU Huskie and an honorary Aggie – she’s my sports buddy and concert crazy friend. She probably knows Marc and I the best as the three of us have been great friends since the day we met. From Clear Channel to movies to softball to concerts to Spice Girls to Aggie Football to Woodrow’s…… No matter what we do, Jennifer and I find a way to laugh at everything and always have a blast together. Jennifer works for Channel 2 in Houston, KPRC and is a master in advertising sales… She is the most animated and fun-loving person you’ll ever meet and also, a really great friend!

Jen and Heather

Bridesmaid - Heather Fuhrer

AKA Reet…… I’ll let her explain that one to you. =) Heather and I both moved to a new school district our freshman year of high school. We’ve been friends since we sat beside each other in Ms. Jackson’s English class…oh, the days! Heather became a part of my family and I became part of hers throughout our high school years. New Year’s Eve parties and late night wrapping opportunities, Joe’s Crab Shack and literally “the writing on the walls” of Heather’s room - at Heather’s house are some of the most memorable parts of my high school days, especially NYE 1998. All of us girls sitting out on the deck, watching the sun come up and talking about our college years ahead…so much has changed but our friendship remains. Heather moved off to South Dakota for college and became a teacher. She has made her home in Bonesteel, SD with her husband, Vern.

Rachel, Jenn and Jill

Bridesmaid - Rachel Louviere & Jill Teague

Rachel is another one of my college girlfriends and another friend from AKPsi. My first memory of Rachel is from our AKPsi pledge camping trip when we found out that sweet, shy, little Rachel had another side to her personality! I can remember road trips to Houston and San Antonio for “career days”, belting out tunes of Wilson Phillips and talking about the latest and greatest techno songs on the radio. She also is notorious for being the person who almost beat Jill at our ring dunking but…didn’t quite make it! Rachel is someone I can talk to about anything and relate to on so many things, especially our country upbringings in East Texas – and Wayne Toups, of course! Recently Rachel’s become my motivator and work out buddy, that is, on the days I decide to work out. =) She is someone I can always count on, which is so important to me. Rachel currently works for Reliant Energy in downtown Houston.

Jill and I have been great friends since the AKPsi college days as well and yes, she is the one who finished dunking her Aggie ring first out of Rachel, me and Jill…one of her many claims to fame! Coon Dog was her nickname in our time at Aggieland and she is an absolute Nintendo buff – she’ll kick your butt at Mario Brothers and Duck Hunt, trust me, I know! Of all of my friends, Jill and I definitely have done the most crazy things together – from New Orleans to Las Vegas to weekday nights in College Station, crazy CRAZY things! Jill has been a loyal and dependable friend to me through some pretty rough times – she helps me see the brighter side to every situation which is something I always need. We can laugh together for hours – she’s awesome in every way! Jill and her husband, Zach live in Houston in their new home (with a pool – woohoo!). Jill is in corporate housing at KBR.

Jenn and Leslie

Bridesmaid - Leslie Stephenson

Leslie is my soon-to-be sister-in-law and someone I feel like I’ve been waiting to meet my whole life, along with her brother, of course. =) I’ve always wanted a sister and Leslie and I have been friends since the moment we met, long before Marc and I decided to start dating. She helped Jennifer and I instigate the best birthday joke ever when she sent us Marc’s baby pictures for us to post all over his office…from four states away she found a way to tease her brother, GENIUS! Leslie and Marc are very close and I’m thankful for the great relationship they have, just like Christopher and I. Leslie and her husband, Bill live in St. Petersburg, FL where Leslie works in advertising sales, just like her brother – imagine that! A family full of marketing minds, no doubt!
